About Nectarine Medical

Nectarine Medical is a Sri Lanka-based B2B telehealth service provider operating under Nectarine Private Limited (PV 85497). We provide remote clinical services to global digital health platforms, telemedicine marketplaces, and online clinics.

We do not treat patients in Sri Lanka, and we do not operate our own direct-to-consumer (B2C) services. All services are delivered under B2B contracts with licensed healthcare providers in jurisdictions such as the UK, EU, Middle East, and North America.

Role Overview

We are currently hiring SLMC-registered doctors to deliver international telehealth consultations as part of our global B2B services. Doctors will assess patients via video or structured questionnaires and submit clinical notes and recommendations to a locally licensed prescriber in the patient's country.

Note: Doctors in this role do not issue prescriptions directly. Treatment decisions are finalized and prescriptions issued by qualified prescribers licensed in the patient's jurisdiction.

Work Schedule & Format

  • Work is offered in fixed shift blocks
  • Minimum commitment: 2 hours per shift
  • Available shift window: Monday–Sunday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM Sri Lanka time
  • Each consultation typically includes:
    • 10 minutes for the patient interaction
    • 5 minutes for clinical notes and recommendations

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessments

  • Conduct video consultations or structured clinical assessments
  • Provide clear and professional medical recommendations
  • Submit accurate clinical notes for each case
  • Do not issue prescriptions – recommendations are passed to a local prescriber for final review

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure documentation aligns with clinical guidelines and partner protocols
  • Collaborate with our admin and clinical operations teams as needed

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

  • Registered and in good standing with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)
  • Residing in Sri Lanka and able to work remotely or from the Nectarine Hub in Nugegoda
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a private, professional workspace (or willingness to use our secure facility)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in general practice or remote consultations
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Familiarity with digital health platforms or telemedicine tools
  • Comfort working with structured templates and clinical SOPs
