About Nectarine Medical

Nectarine Medical is a Sri Lanka-based B2B telehealth service provider operating under Nectarine Private Limited (PV 85497). We support international digital health platforms, telemedicine marketplaces, and online clinics by delivering high-quality, remote clinical services through our team of qualified doctors.

We do not treat patients in Sri Lanka and do not operate our own direct-to-consumer (B2C) services. Our services are delivered exclusively under B2B agreements with licensed healthcare operators abroad.

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting GMC-registered GPs with RCGP membership for our UK telehealth service. In this role, you will consult with UK-based patients via video or asynchronous platforms, provide clinical assessments, and issue prescriptions and medical documentation as appropriate.

You will be working as part of an established remote team supporting a UK-licensed clinic regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The work is structured, predictable, and supported by our dedicated operations and clinical governance teams.

Work Schedule & Format

  • Work is offered in fixed shift blocks
  • Minimum commitment: 2 hours per shift
  • Available shift window: Monday–Sunday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM Sri Lanka time
  • Each consultation typically includes:
    • 10 minutes for the patient interaction
    • 5 minutes for clinical notes and recommendations

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Conduct video or asynchronous GP consultations with UK-based patients
  • Provide high-quality clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Issue prescriptions, fit notes, and referral letters under your GMC registration
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Quality & Compliance

  • Adhere to UK clinical standards, CQC expectations, and partner protocols
  • Participate in clinical quality reviews and peer discussions as required

Competitive USD Compensation

USD 15 per hour with above market compensation in USD, paid monthly. Income tax incentive of lower bracket for foreign income

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

  • Registered and in good standing with the UK General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) – MRCGP or equivalent
  • Residing in Sri Lanka and able to work remotely or from the Nectarine Hub in Nugegoda
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a private, professional workspace (or willingness to use our secure facility)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in UK-based general practice or urgent care
  • Experience working in telemedicine or digital health platforms
  • Comfortable using clinical systems, digital consultation tools, and structured templates
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
